April is coming to an end but May is on the way, and it looks like there will be more Cabbagetown sales and events moving further along into spring:
Forsythia Festival
We’ve been waiting for it and the time is close approaching. Sunday, May 5th, the parade starts at 10am in Riverdale Park and will make its way to Wellesley Park by early afternoon. Take a look at the website for a complete program of events, including the parade route, park map, raffle prizes, and more.

My Mark
My Mark’s has announced that they will be closing (425 Parliament St.). As much as the community will miss them, people should stop by one last time to check out the discounts being offered. Products in-store will range from 20%-50%, so come on in and take advantage of this sale.
Injeanius Jackets
Are you ready for Mother’s Day? Injeanius Jackets has many wonderful holiday packages on sale that include a custom, fitted jacket, a selection of chocolates, and a beautiful crafted card.
Kendall & Co.
Turns out people couldn’t get enough of them the first time! Kendall & Co. has restocked their selection of handmade clocks and are selling them in the showroom this month. Hurry in while quantities last. Doors open from 10am to 6pm on weekdays and 11am to 5pm on Saturdays (227 Carlton).

Community Yard Sale 2013
On May 25th, bring all of your unwanted goods to the CSRA Annual Community Yard Sale. This is a family event, so make a day out of it and come on down to see what there is! Advertising will be posted on Craig’s List and Kijiji.
Safety Walk
On May 16th, Division 51 will lead a group of residents around the streets of Cabbagetown, providing an opportunity how community members to ask questions and learn about safety in the community. All are welcomed to join.
