Earth Hour Tour – Cabbagetown South Association

COMMUNITY WALK & STAR GAZING BY CANDLELIGHT

Join us for a candlelight walk through Victorian Cabbagetown South. Get a new perspective on your community and the Earth! This year when the lights go out across Toronto, don’t sit in the dark. Gather your family, friends and neighbours together and participate in Earth Hour (See my earlier post here) at our 3rd annual Community Walk & Star Gazing event!

This is a free one hour guided community walk. Enjoy the beauty of a bygone era. Do a little star-gazing. Meet your neighbours. Walk the dog. Finish with a hot chocolate before heading home. Our guide will be Robin Burgoyne of House Stories.

Who can attend? Families, friends, singles, couples, seniors, teens and pets who live in or love Cabbagetown South are welcome.

Please bring along a lantern or candle!

Walk Starts: Gerrard at Seaton (by the Beer Store) Gather at 8:15 pm

Brought to you by: Cabbagetown South Residents’ Association & Aberdeen Avenue Residents Group.

This event is part of our 2011 initiative to support the Environment.
