Spring is almost here!  Though it might not look it if you’ve seen what’s happening outside with all the white stuff everywhere.  A new season means that it’s also time for our Forsythia Festival.  I’ve not taken part in this festival over the past two years but am really looking forward to going back and spending the day with old friends and making new ones. April is coming to an end but May is on the way, and it looks like there will be more Cabbagetown sales and events moving further along into spring: Forsythia Festival We’ve been waiting for it and the time is close approaching. A Call for Volunteers The annual Forsythia Festival is quick approaching!  On Sunday May 5th prepare to join hundreds of cheerful residents in Wellesley Park for an event filled day.  The parade will begin at the corner of Sumach and Winchester Street at 10am and the festivities will last until 3pm.  In order for this year’s event to run smoothly, the Cabbagetown Residents Association is looking for a few more volunteers.  Even if you can only spare one hour of your time, the community will be extremely grateful.  If you are interested in helping out at this year’s Forsythia Festival, …
