Cabbagetown displays ills of social housing

Boarded up homes are an issue for any neighborhood as it takes away from the esthetics of the area and does a disservice to the neighbors.  If the neighbor causing the issue is the City of Toronto, I believe the city should sell the buildings off and let a private company come in to fix up the space.

The city if projecting to fix these worn out homes with $238 dollars per unit which is laughable.  Our residents spend ten times that per year in maintaining their properties.

Kudos to Globe and Mail for picking up on this issue that our residents are facing!
