Nostalgia Tripping: Social Housing in Toronto

An amazing look through history and roots of Social Housing in Toronto starting in Cabbagetown.  Some can argue that it’s a recipe for disaster as it has never worked before but we still need to help our fellow who are at a disadvantage.

I do believe that scrutiny is required to make sure the system is not taken advantage off.  Drugs and crimes tend to take root in places like these first before spilling outwards.

During the last meeting of Cabbagetown South Association, this was a topic that was heavily discussed.  Community involvement is encouraged and next meeting scheduled for April 13,2011 at 7:00PM.
